Where to park in Rome: the Gianicolo Terminal.
Near Palazzo Olivia there is a safe, modern, multi-functional complex with a large indoor car park for buses and cars and an arrivals area equipped with all comforts and services. The "Terminal Gianicolo" can be reached from Palazzo Olivia on bus n.116.
The Terminal Gianicolo is the ideal stopping point for a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica (which is just a few metres aways) and for Rome itself. In just a few minutes’ walk you come to Trastevere, with its characteristic little streets, its churches rich in history and works of art and the multitude of typical restaurants offering tasty Roman cooking. Piazza Navona, the Campidoglio, Piazza Venezia an other extremely famous areas in the centre of Rome can be reached just as easily and are excellently connected by the Rome Underground.
