To all our guests who visited Palazzo Olivia or wish to visit in the future, I would like to introduce the Info Blog. We receive lots of enquiries about events in the city, how to get tickets, whom to hire a car from, where to find a teacher and all sort of things. So I thought it might be a good idea to create a little space where you can look for info or post your own questions, ideas, comments, anything that could help other travellers.

Following are some of the latest comments we have received and useful links.

Carla, we had another wonderful stay at Palazzo Olivia. Thank you for all your kindness in arranging our transportation upon arrival and for arranging our transportation when we returned back to Rome from Sorrento. Thank you also for accommodating our request to have early check-in. [Cindy & Rich Huie from New Zeland]

Carla…The McCanns would like to thank you for all your help while we were in Rome. You certainly made our stay a pleasant one and all your information, directions and phone calls were greatly appreciated. We will be recommending Palazzo Olivia to our friends. I had not been in Rome for 48 years!! I certainly saw some changes, but the great thing is all the wonderful sights are still there…altho much more crowded!! What an incredible city it is!! Thanks so much for your help..you are great at your job!! [Margot & Richard Blaker from WA- USA]

Lovely peaceful apartment in great location. Also, Carla went the extra mile for us, arranging airport transfer and laundromat service. The latter was much appreciated after 1 month without washing machine! [The Warrings from New Zealand]

Dear Carla, We had a very memorable and enjoyable visit to Rome, Florence and Naples. At first, we did not think that we can find our way around the city that easy but thanks to your ” guide ” of the different walking tours we were able to see a lot of the city. I’m hoping to go back in the future for another visit. The apartment was like a home away from home for us. [Aida from Michigan - USA]

Hi Carla - I wanted to take a moment to thank you for our lovely stay at Palazzo Olivia. It was a pleasure to meet you, and you could not have been more gracious or helpful. I hope our paths cross again. With warm regards and fond memories. [Linda from Oregon -USA]

We truly enjoyed our stay in the Fiorello, it was immaculate. I was apprehensive to rent an apartment overseas, since we had never done that before. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable! We would recommend the Palazzo Olivia to friends without hesitation. [Kimberly from USA]

Stefano and Carla - Made it home safely on Saturday and still recovering from jet lag. Many thanks for all your kindnesses shown during our stay at Palazzo Olivia and for the olive oil, which I hope to sample this week. Again, it was a real pleasure meeting you and to stay in your delightful apartment! [Ron and Johanna from USA]

Hey Carla - I’m back at Work after a super Holliday in Rome and a week back home in Oslo with autumn and very fine and warm weather for the season. - Me and all the other girls want to thank you for a perfect stay, and transport. All of us were very pleased. - And we hope to come back soon. [Wenche from Sweden]

Carla, We are back in Adelaide. Thanks for making the stay in Roma so pleasant. Taxi turned up on time and all went well - except I had misread the departure time so we had a bit of a wait at the airport. But that was fine. Look forward to coming to your wonderful city again and will be in touch then. And in the meantime if there is anything you need assistance with in Adelaide please do let us know. [Cheers, Sylvia and Phil from Australia]

Carla - Back in the northern cold of Helsinki, we just wanted to thank you for looking after us so well during our stay. We thought the apartment was great (if a bit small), just what we wanted, and the location could not have been better: we walked almost everywhere. Thanks for all the information beforehand, for the material available in the apartment and for helping us get the car back to Fiumicino yesterday. [Keith from Norway]

Dear Carla and Stefano, Thank you for the opportunity to stay in one of your apartments. We enjoyed Rome a lot and will come back again. Thank you again for making our visit so easy end enjoyable. All the best. [Ross and Annette from Republic of Kazakhstan]

Hi Carla, What a wonderful idea! I know we will be back again, and my daughter and her husband should be contacting you before too long, as they can’t wait to stay with you after our fabulous experience. You have been highly recommended to everyone who has asked about where we stayed! Thanks for making Rome such an incredible experience. [Dorothy from USA]
